It does not like sudden changes in temperature and prefers cold, stable climates and soils suited to its constant demands for attention, both in cultivation and in production in the cellar.

As a demanding vine, it did not make life easy for growers who welcomed it outside its native environment, with difficult and unrewarding harvests, so much so that it was only after years of research and various attempts that the first satisfactory results were achieved.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ css_animation=”” css=”.vc_custom_1678710221972{background-image: url(https://bramasole.ee/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/map-abruzzo-vitigno-pinot.jpg?id=1507) !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”1507″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css_animation=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle” css_animation=”” css=”.vc_custom_1466166287107{padding-top: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}”][vc_column css_animation=”” css=”.vc_custom_1678710447310{margin-top: 0px !important;margin-right: 0px !important;margin-bottom: 0px !important;margin-left: 0px !important;padding-top: 0px !important;padding-right: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;padding-left: 0px !important;background-image: url(https://bramasole.ee/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/pinot-grigio_viinamarjad.jpeg?id=1508) !important;background-position: center !important;background-repeat: no-repeat !important;background-size: cover !important;}” offset=”vc_col-lg-6 vc_col-md-6″][vc_empty_space height=”500px”][/vc_column][vc_column css_animation=”” css=”.vc_custom_1678262524919{padding-top: 0% !important;padding-right: 20% !important;padding-bottom: 0% !important;padding-left: 20% !important;background-color: #f1f1f1 !important;}” offset=”vc_col-lg-6 vc_col-md-6″][vc_column_text css_animation=”” css=”.vc_custom_1689844337887{margin-bottom: 90px !important;}”]

Pinot Grigio raising and pruning

Prefers expanded forms of cultivation and medium-long pruning but can also be trained with spurred cordon, especially using selected clones.
