Altitude: 7 m A.M.S.L.
Soil: with a high presence of “caranto” a particularly hard and compact composition of clay and limestone.
Exposure: east/west
Vinification
A month and a half of maceration on the skins, and the end of the alcoholic fermentation, were followed by pressing and malolactic fermentation. The wine was then left to mature in stainless steel tanks for 6 months, and then run off into tonneau (400 litres) and left for 6 years.
