Located south of Riquewihr, the Sporen is a gently sloping natural cirque facing South-East. Made up of clay-marly soils, its deep soils, sheltered from drought in years with low rainfall, allow the roots of the vine to explore the soil in search of trace elements contributing to the complexity of its wines.<\/p>\n

Marketed under its name for centuries, the wines of Sporen are characterized by their finesse and richness. Powerful and long to blossom, these are remarkable wines for laying down.<\/p>\n
